This was a new venture for me.  A good friend of mine has a daughter who lives in China, who sent her this beautiful silk, and she wanted a quilt made from it.  It was interesting.  Anyone who has worked with silk knows it is very slippery and frays very easily.  We picked a simple pattern, and I went to work.  This is the result.
